Speak out against Guns and Knives In Bristol

6 July, 2011

Guns and knife crime is becoming a far too familiar story in some of our neighbourhoods. A 21 year old man was shot dead in the early hours of sunday morning on Stapleton Road, which according to Police had nothing to do with two stabbings that had happened in a similar area the prior week.

The global toll of small arms is substantial, probably in excess of 500,000 per year. Half a million deaths is a shocking statistic, but the death of a loved one from small arms is a tragedy.

Bristolian communities must put our differences to one side and stand together against Gun and Knife crime within our communities and worldwide.
